Teichichnus

A non-branching, unlined, vertical feeding trace characterized by concave-up laminations called spreite, which are tabular, curved laminations that are formed as the organism tunnels back and forth through the sediment in search of food. The organism on each back-and-forth pass moves just enough to avoid reworking a previously mined area.
